Marco is Irish, born and raised in Dublin.  

His work in news and factual television at the BBC won him a Royal Television Society award and equipped him with a broad skillset covering many aspects of storytelling and production.

After directing several short films, he graduated to writing and directing commercially focused genre features.

He maintains an active slate of both writing and writing/directing projects with established producers in Los Angeles, London, and Dublin.

Marco’s favourite films are Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark and John Carpenter’s The Thing. 

He prefers watching original release prints of old movies, no matter how damaged they are. When he isn’t working, he makes things out of wood.

Marco is represented in the United States by Paradigm Talent, Zero Gravity Management and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman Law.

He is represented in the UK and Ireland by Linda Seifert Management.
